What’s Going On With Debra Jones | 2-15-12

Working from Puerto Vallarta in the winter each year regularly reminds me of the power of goal-setting. It’s no accident nor coincidence that I find myself with the ability to be able to live this life.

Many, many years ago I made the commitment to work hard to achieve my dreams and set my goals for my business as the following: being able to work without being tied to a specific geographic location, having flexible scheduling, utilizing technology to be engaged in my work no matter where I am.

These sound like common-place goals today…they were extremely out of the ordinary back in the early 80’s which is when I set them!!! It was true then and it’s true now…when you have clarity about your purpose, unseen forces go to work for you and people, circumstances and opportunities are placed in your pathway that will astound you.

As I’m conducting my business “full steam ahead” while in a foreign country, looking at palm trees, the ocean view just outside my balcony window and enjoying the breezes blowing…I remain humble, grateful and forever convinced that goal setting works.
